Oversight of Studies and Designs
Objective
VELNEC S.A. provided comprehensive oversight of the studies and designs for Bogotá’s TransMilenio Calle 26 corridor, one of the city’s most significant mass transit infrastructure projects due to its functional, urban, and territorial impact.
Scope
The project comprises 21 km of roadway, 608,886 m² of public space, 12.7 km of cycling infrastructure, and 48 km of dedicated lanes for articulated buses, providing an efficient east–west connection across the city with average travel times of 30 minutes.
