Comprehensive Oversight
Objective
VELNEC S.A. was responsible for the comprehensive oversight of the concession agreement for Sector I of the Ruta del Sol, one of Colombia’s strategic transportation corridors for enhancing connectivity, regional integration, and national competitiveness.
Scope
The project scope included the construction of 56.3 km of dual carriageway and 3.3 km of single carriageway, as well as the rehabilitation, paving, and maintenance of 16.3 km of existing roadway. The project also included two parallel one-way tunnels, measuring 156 and 178 meters in length.
