Objective
VELNEC S.A. provided comprehensive oversight of the modernization works at the General San Martín Port Terminal in Pisco, located on Paracas Bay, 280 km south of Lima.
Project Details
The project features a 700-meter-long pier with a maximum draft of 14 meters, two mobile cranes for general cargo, storage yards and warehouses, as well as administrative and logistics facilities. The terminal can handle up to 700 tonnes of grain per hour, with an annual capacity of up to 3.5 million tonnes of cargo and 81,500 TEUs.
